Spotted an ITT 3605 recently (clone of the 3v38) and got it with the intention of fixing it up, the belts were stretched and the idlers were perished. Swapped the bits from my 3v38 as the motor for the heads had seized. Anyways got it running after some bother with the loading belt. Only problem was the ITT is such an ugly machine, the covers for the buttons were missing and the buttons were badly marked.
Decided to swap the front facials over, which involved changing the switch board for the power/timer eject/play etc. Swapping the flaps for the cassette entrance. Changing the displays over involved changing out the entire pcb, wiring to the main board and also the tuner pcb as the wiring was all laid out differently.
Here's the result, (can't tell eh?) the ITT is ugly!
