I suspect most of us use old transistor radios on a regular basis. My bathroom set is a
Grundig Party Boy 210 which runs very well on a couple of lithium rechargeable cells from a scrap power pack.
I also use a very old microwave. It was bought in 1988 when I moved into my present house and was the cheapest I could find at £69, branded 'Hinari'. One of the knobs broke a couple of years ago, but everything else is original, including the interior light bulb.
I have lots of 70s and 80s hifi in frequent use.
