Another useful test
1st run telnet
A0>T-NET N

and then remove it
A>T_NET R

and then run gemdebug
A0>Gemdebug
Gemdebug....

Run a terminal program on the windows/linux box

The following sends character 41 on the serial port
-ob8 41
And the command
-qb8
Will display the last character received on the serial port.


This will check the serial link including the cable and uart.
