Well, not 100% but i'ts the whole nav / aiming kit. From what I recall (I last saw it in use in April) it's the gyro system. It has many feeds, which he can provide, and it then 'flies' over a moving map. Whether he has the drift calc or whether he simulates the feed from it I cannot be sure, but it is a pretty hefty bit of kit and it's terribly complex. If ever I saw a better testament to my friends nouse I don't recall it!
