I know you know the risks, but be
exceptionally careful of doing this type of thing. I'm certain it will be contrary to your employers H&S rules, and if anything goes wrong (or even if it doesn't), is unlikely to "go down well"...
We have to protect ourselves from time to time, unfortunately.
All that said, I like the restoration, did you reduce the HT through the OP TX primary by changing the cathode resistor to protect the TX a bit?
