I set up what I want to photograph under the microscope first, then just align the camera with the eyepiece on the microscope, let it do it’s autofocus thing and hit the shutter button. You sometimes get the corners cut off, but you can zoom in a bit before taking the picture, or crop it afterwards. The microscope sat work are better for this as the lens for the eyepiece is bigger.
