Default Reconstructing Gram switch shaft, Philips 431A

Hello,
I don't expect many of you having this problem, but I have a Philips 431A with a
broken/missing Gram switch shaft and the likelihood of getting one is almost impossible.
I had a go at reconstructing it by using a copper 8mm equal tee and a metal straw. So far has been working fine.
