Re: What vintage equipment did you actually use today?
Today, it's been the Roberts R707 in the orchard - fed from my pantry-transmitter relaying the "Initial-D" Eurobeat soundtrack - while enjoying the sunshine and hacking-down some overgrown hedges (despite being loud the R707 isn't audible over the sound of a two-stroke-powered chainsaw).
Now, it's the Eddystone 840A tuned to what I think is Radio China in the 41-Metre band, whose propaganda-efforts are pathetic compared with the offerings of the 1970s Eastern-European-bloc.
