This afternoon I spotted a 100W reinforced light bulb of somewhat recent manufacture. It only puts out 900lm and lasts 1500h according to the print on the box. Normal 1000h bulbs output 1300-1600lm if I remember correctly, so that's quite a trade off for only 50% extra life.
