Smile Re: King's speech unedited BBC recording. Value?

Hi,
If it were mine, rather than play it on a vintage 78 rpm record player, I'd be inclined to play it on a modern 'Hi-Fi' deck with a light weight pick-up at 45 rpm and record it onto a computer running 'Audacity', a sound file handling program. Then you can speed it up using the software and, with a bit of patience, remove the worst of the clicks & pops that always accompany old recordings.
Just a thought.
Cheers, Pete.
