We're going round in circles here.

All capacitors will need to be replaced ultimately. Capacitors don't have a wattage rating. They have a voltage rating.

The resistors I suggested changing were:-

R1 100k 1/2 Watt.
R7 250k 1/2 Watt. If 250k not available use 270k.
R12 25k 1 Watt.
R23 2M 1/2 watt. If 2M not available use 2.2M
R24 500k 1/2 watt. If 500k not available use 470k. ***

*** I'm suspicious of the fact you measured this as 40k. It's wired across L4 secondary so should measure around 57 ohms when in circuit.

At the risk of complicating things you could use 2 watt resistors as replacements. They'll do the job just as well and being physically larger will look better in a set of this age.
