Mod's, I hope a little digression from the original thread is ok.
I'm really surprised more people haven't done what I've done. There are millions of 1930's semis yet hardly anyone has thought to retain the original look, or put it back. It hasn't cost me the earth, if fact many of the period items have been picked up at very modest sums. But I will admit a fair amount of time and thought has gone into whats been done.
I think it's a shame, most 1930's semis are now becoming unrecognized from their original conception, it certainly is in the town I live and my house now really stands out, I think with its charm and character, I wouldn't have it any other way!
