Nobody has mentioned the Black Country Museum near Dudley in the West Midlands. Here are working exhibits of heavy enginering and at least a day is needed to see it all.
The other non radio must is the Ironbridge Museum in Shropshire about 40 miles NW of Birmingham. This is where the worlds first cast iron bridge is and the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution in this country. You won`t do that in a day either!!
