Around the same time manuals stopped going to component level and became flowcharts for board-level swappers.
An era ended.

Presumably this was after Bill & Dave had retired from their most excellent adventure and 'professional' managers were brought in. Sadly all other T&M companies followed suit in terms of documentation.
