Default Re: TV22 Restoration

At present I am having to overhaul two of these TV22 chasses (housed in TUG24 cabinets - also being restored) for a national institution which is shortly to open a new television gallery. There's a time deadline involved and the usual gamut of problems to overcome as I go - this rather removes the 'fun' factor I have to say.

The sets will be left working all day/every day, so needless to say thoroughness is of the essence and I'll be adding extra cooling. Two sets have been ordered because then one can cover for the other if it goes down, as inevitably it will with this amount of use...

Any points that crop up which could be of help to others I'll add here later. In the meantime may I recommend Beery's excellent online resource on TV22 LOPTS and other matters HERE .
