Yes I think it was used by Nottingham City Transport for their trolleybuses. Both my dad and uncle worked for them. My uncle was with them from before the war till 1971.

I'm not sure if it goes back to the days of of the trams or not.

I've not tried it at high voltage, as I've not worked out how to get inside it yet. I'll get a new strap and feet for it and a good polish. Its in good condition, with a few fag burns from blokes on the tower wagon!
