I have a PYE 7440/G wheatsone as well. It was interesting to check how the coil resistances had aged over the last 70 years or so. It seems that the 1kohm resistors have had a harder time of it, given they use the finest gauge wire, and may have been exposed to the highest power loss during equipment use.
