Next is a somewhat intriguing view, scanned from a small original, of how Derby Day was televised. This appears to be pre-war but does anyone know the original source?

First: a general view, second: a close-up on the 'on-topic television in the home' content, third: a close up looking into the back of a mirror-lid receiver, and fourth: the real thing!

Note the 'G.Marconi' badge on the artist's impression of the receiver. I don't know what actual model it can be depicting though.
