So glad that you retained the original lamps...and yes a clean reflector makes a big difference. I don't like the so-called modified DAC90A's with searchlight-bright dials...they never looked like that from day one and just look wrong. The warm, gentle glow of the originals fits in with the style and era of the set. Excellent job done there and it will be good for many years to come.
