I totally had failed to recognise that Jessops still existed. I suspect that 99% of the serious-spending 'prosumer' photocommunity [which transitioned to digital a decade before Jessops went under] are in a similar position [ last big lens I bought was a Sigma and I got it from a dealer in Finland]
