Default Re: Open University Generator & Oscilloscope?

Hi!

The oscilloscope has a single–sided epoxy glass PCB covering all the right hand side with two valves on it, I've not yest investigated mine to find out what they are yet!

A simple mono–accelerator CRT is used and a very basic single channel vertical amplifier and timebase is provided.

Unlike the B.N.R.E.S. "Learnakit" home assembly scope, this unit has four or five calibrated settings for both vertical gain and timebase speed.

I am working out how I can incorporate in my T & M book – I have finalised the book at 16 Parts, 190 Chapters, but I can easily incorporate this instrument as sub–sections of the appropriate main chapters if need be!

By the way, the one I got is distinctly moth–eaten, if any Member has a tidy one they're willing to part with for (hopefully!) a smarter case and matching knobs, please PM me!
