Are there any aspects of your set-up where you have substituted components or units thinking 'this won't invalidate my test and will work just as well'?
I can think of two occasions in my personal experience of aircraft testing where this had been done with the best of intentions (by others, not me!) which had unintended consequences which could have been serious but fortunately were not.
