Magneto phone generates no ring voltage
I have a 300MT phone - that's an Australian number - Circuit attached, that produces no voltage. The gravity swith operates and the magneto switch looks to move when the hadle is turned. The handle moves freely even with the handet out of the cradle and I can't hear anything in the earphone when the handle is turned. Could the magneto be dead? How can I test it?
The magneto swith seems to be working - continuity and then open when I turn the handle. With an ohmmeter between the red wire in the pic and either the green or white wire, I hear a crackle in the earphone.
