There have been a few requests here recently where people have asked for someone to repair some equipment, and the response has started: "Depending on what's wrong...".

It could be useful to say briefly what the problem is, as that could help people decide whether it is something they can help with or not. Just something like "dead", "not tested", "loud hum", "works on AM but not FM", "radio works, cassette doesn't" etc.

If it is a straightforward problem you could get more responses.
