The model 9 is virtually identical to the model 8, the only difference being the additional 7 1/2 speed, which affects the equalization switch and associated circuitry in the amplifier, and possibly the left hand reel table mechanism (later Tandbergs with the 7 1/2 speed have a slight active back tension intended to take up the slack when the machine is put in pause mode; I'm not sure it's the case for the model 9 though) so if you want more substantial information you can use the model 8 service manual to start with, which should be more widely available, as this machine was one of if not the most popular Tandberg machine.
