I put a 60' long wire up a couple of weeks ago with the aim of firing up my old Sony ICF2001 to see if I could pick up anything on H.F. e.g. WWV. I think I'll need to build an Antenna Tuning Unit to try and get rid of some of the air-borne wideband noise ...
