Default Re: Electric clocks running slow warning

I re-set all my mains synchronous clocks last weekend when BST started - there are at least 6 running in the house at any one time.

I've just noticed that they're all over a minute slow already - very disappointing in less than 7 days. At this rate, they could be half an hour out by the time we change them back to GMT! This is the first year I have every noticed anything like this happen.

Can anyone offer any inside knowledge about what's going on?

Should I now be going round every week and re-setting them, rather like I have to do with my spring-driven 1930s mantel clocks when I wind them?

Nick.
