Just to add to the knowledge base here, as I happen to have two pairs of "unmolested" Lintons on the bench at the moment..... Although the external appearance of the speaker cabinets is pretty much the same, the Linton 2 (with the purple tweeter) opens from the front, the back being recessed in a groove, while the Super Linton W30D opens from the back with cross-head screws.
(Ahhhhhh, I've been using the Linton 2 pair but the Super Lintons have been in storage for about ten years, sure they were working well at the time, but now I find that now one of my purple tweeters is silent)
