Lord Kelvin current Clydedale Bank £100 note, but there does't seem to be a rule against appearing on both Scottish & Bank of England notes, as Adam Smith has been on both.

Other inventors / Scientists on Scottish notes include Alexander Fleming and Alexander Graham Bell.
