The variable shift resistors R68 and R69 have a centre tap so that a differential action is possible to move the picture from left to right and up and down from a centre position. The circuit for the Mk2 chassis fitted with electric picture shift controls can be found in one of the Malloy and Poole servicing books. I'll post up the circuit when I return to the shop later today.
