the bakelite was so bad that i could not polish it around the knobs due to wear of the fingers rubbing while turning the knobs so i had to sand and clearcoat the entire radio. thats why it has the glossy look

the radio is a schaub libelle but the schematic doesnt match the radio because this variation was produced for the portuguese market
the closest schematic i found to guide me through the repair was for a schaub "Viola"
viola means acoustic guitar in Portuguese
in the dial you can see 2 bands : OM and OC
Onda Média = medium wave
Onda Curta = short wave

the grille cloth is not original, it is a scrap piece from other radio i restored, i think it was from a large telefunken
