Re: 10M FM - any activity these days?
I have done my share of converted CB's, but I prefer high power PMR gear now. Was there ever anything like these in the UK?: Motorola Syntor X9000, 110 Watts output, 29-54 MHz, 32-64 channels, noise blanker and alpha-numeric head, 1990's, does 10 and 6 meters in same radio, OR, GE RANGR, 40W (motorcycle) or 110W (automobile,) 29-45 MHz, 128+ channels, alpha-numeric head, OR, GE-Ericsson ORION, 29-45 Mhz, 110W, 256 channels, alpha numeric head. All as seen below. These usually cost between $ 50-100 for a complete set.
