Here are some photos:

Ampex (sold as mastering tape)
TDK (long-play, professional)
Shannon (pretty box, tape initially good but after a dozen passes degrades noticeably)
Scotch (standard thichness)

The Scotch box includes details of other tape - including acetate base, so I've included a photo of this for interest
