I have noticed (+ others have reported elsewhere) significant power reduction on 882 more recent since you posted the above on 16th June. What is it like now for signal strength ?

BBC R Devon continues on MW for now (albeit due to close later this summer), but the 801kHz (375m) in north Devon has been afflicted with low modulation for some time, making it a difficult listen.
