Smile Old telephone

Hi,
Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of this early telephone I spotted at a friend's house.
The label on it refers to the installer, rather than the maker, I think.
The bakelite mouth piece is missing, and it had a handset rather than just an ear phone.
Just wondering if there's info out there about its origins?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Pete.
