Possibly the sound volume preset. It's a long time ago since I service a similar set with such a control.
Thanks for the picture, the label is quite interesting! A font almost like hand drawn, and it doesn't state a factory of origin (no letters in front of the serial number). It may have been made locally in Greece at least partially from imported parts. Are there any other paper labels on the chassis itself or only a duplicate of the same type label?
P.S. The date on the type label might be the date of the approval for the license for this model. If another label is present on the chassis, it might reveal the year and week of production as is customary in most Philips sets.
