Re: What vintage equipment did you actually use today?
Not a radio, I'm afraid, but here is the Sharp microwave in my kitchen. I've never really thought of it as 'vintage', but I suppose it is!
Bought new in 1991, this oven has been used many times, every day since then. It has nevr needed a repair, not even a replacement interior light bulb, and the clock keeps deadly accurate time (always correct to the second with the pips on R4)
This thing is solidly built, with no loose or rattly bits, and the door shuts with a very pleasing 'thunk', like an expensive car!
I dread the day when it stops working, because when I have used modern, top-brand microwave ovens, I have been seriously unimpressed.
