Hi and thanks very much for your advice. I would love to learn but I do not know what or whom to learn from. Is there anything online that could help me? I wouldn't even know what grease to use. As for the radio. I reckon it probably does have a frame antenna. It is just not good enough. When I am touching it the signal gets better as it uses my body to increase its signal. At the top of this thread there are photos I have put on showing the connections at the back. Could I get one of them ribbon antennas and poke the wires into the holes along with the existing wander plug connection? Will any kind of signal booster work?
