Hi!

The Russian 6E5S works fine but you need a base wiring change!

Y63:–

1:– i.c. 2:– h 3:– a/d 4:– t 5:– g, 6:– n.p. 7:– h 8:– k, g'

6E5s:–

1:– i.c., 2:– h, 3:– a/d, 4:– i.c., 5:– g, 6:– t, 7:– h, 8:– k, g'.

Both types Vh 6.3V 0.3A, Vt 250V, Ra 1M, Vg –22V zero shadow angle.

To rewire a Y63 socket for a 6E5S transfer the lead and the end of the (usually 1M) anode resistor formerly connected to pin 4 to pin 6.
