Default CAPS - how to change to lower case

Something simple, I hope admin will not object to .
Not technical, and possibly teaching a few grans how to suck eggs .
If other posters are anything like me and TRY to keep the cases of letters correct, then it's annoying to find that you've not noticed that you've left cap lock on.
To save deleting ( and it usually is ) large bits of text, I use Word .
In Word , it's possible to set a shortcut ( description below is for 2003) to sit on the menu.
Options / Tools/Customise and choose commands.
Select Format on the left and scroll down on the right till "change case " appears .
Left click and drag to the menu ( or in my case the line above).
To use - cut the offending text & paste into Word.
Highlight and use change case. Cut & paste back into post.
