The Case you have there, would originally have had the NATO version of the Model 8 Mk VI. I don't have the NATO Number yet for that Model of Meter.
The Last as far as I know of the Military/NATO Test Sets.
The others are:

Test Set Multirange No1 (Model 9 SX)
Nato Stock Number for Case 6625-99-105-7056
Nato Stock Number for 9sx 6625-99-105-7050 (Earlier Models 1960's 12889 ˄ 5QP/17447)
Came in the Soft Vinyl Grey/Green Case of which there are at least Two versions.

Multimeter Set No1 Mk 2 (Model 8 Mk V)
Nato Stock Number for Case, Not sure, haven't seen one, but might be 6625-99-105-7049.
But don't quote me on that yet.
Nato Stock Number for Meter Unknown at this time.

Multimeter Set No1 Mk 3 (Model 8 Mk V)
Nato Stock Number for Case 6625-99-650-2822
Nato Stock Number for Meter 6625-99-650-2823

I have no idea at this stage, what the difference is between the Mk 2 and Mk 3 Test Sets.
I know they were both Model 8 Mk V's as this is stated in different Mk V Manuals.
Note also, the change in Test Set Name.
