I agree with that, SB, and it’s nice to see the colour schemes chosen by various restorers. However in David’s and my FB10s the cabinets had been repaired and needed respraying to hide the repair. I could have chosen cream, which I guess would have been more authentic (I once resprayed a very tatty Marconi midget in its original cream colour, although that was brown Bakelite underneath) but ‘going green’ guaranteed acceptability to SWMBO and ensured the FB10 would meet with her approval as the kitchen set...
