I wonder if sometimes the men in suits at the boardroom table lose sight completely of what they are there for.
I have seen many cases of this aberrant behaviour, usually by the accountants in "re-organisations".
Several good companies have gone to the wall in the last 10 years in a similar fashion, (BHS?) some have survived the trauma, just (Tesco?)
