I had to choose SE because Oxfordshire is in the government SE standard region, but Oxford is actually in the South Midlands. The confusion dates back to 1974 when Oxfordshire (traditionally a Midlands county) acquired a big chunk of Berkshire (traditionally a SE county) and the bureaucrats decided it should become part of the SE.

Note that lots of forum members (probably a majority) aren't members of the BVWS. I'm not.
