Very interesting, thanks very much for posting.

I note that the following:

Page 12: the Cosor 927 has a double-pole mains switch whose contacts are bypassed by 1 MOhm resistors to dissipate any static electricity.

Page 13: the Philips TV1437U uses balanced screened feeder: for all the others, feeder is either 80 Ohm coax or unspecified.

Page 28: the Baird C1815 includes an internal aerial (mains) for use in high signal strength areas, as well as an external aerial socket.

P36: at a TV exhibition, the BBC demonstrated a massive 21' x 16' TV picture. No details of the projector used to produce it. Several manufacturers had large screen projecor models for domestic use.

The last page indicates it is a 1954 reprint of a 1953 publication.
