Chris,

Thanks for ypour videos on the 9R-59DS, very entertaining AND instructive. I've watched them all carefully and tried to copy your approach. Heating the tuning circuitry associated with Band C fixed the problem of zero reception at the low-frequency end of the band. AM recption is fine, but I am still trying to fix the issue of very low audio (volume) with SSB signals. I've ordered a couple of replacement valves associated with the BFO/SSB side. Fingers crossed they make a difference.

I have not changed any caps.

Any thoughts?
