It was an "in-house" design from the lab in Bonhill Street and was manufactured in the Pallion, Sunderland factory.

Others have mentioned the Caralux and one of the original broadcasting engineers on board mv Mi Amigo still has one. We were discussing it tonight. But until now no one has mentioned the manufacturer. Can anyone direct me to a site or even a thread with more information about this company in 1963-1964?
