Hello All,

I am trying to restring a Beomaster 1400 which will require a degree of patience.

So as I don't get it back to front as it were, can anyone tell me whether the vanes in the variable tuning cap should be fully meshed - or fully unmeshed - when the dial pointer is at the low end of the FM band (87 MHz)?

Counter-intuitively, the dial scale has the low numbers at the right hand end.
