Re: Standards Converter recommissioned.
That's a brilliant achievement designing and building a standards converter and great to see a TTL based circuit. It is a highly robust technology and fairly inexpensive to maintain, although some TTL ICs are becoming less easily available.
I built the Darius converter about 15 years ago and I'm pleased to get it all working which involved a great deal of work, but great fun all the same!
I'm currently building the Television magazine Test Card Generator May to July 1979 issues which uses 45 TTL ICs and a ZNA1034 SPG IC.
I'd love to be able to build David's standards converter if he would be happy share his circuit diagram.
