I joined BVWS in the early 80,s and as Mike T states the prices were certainly beyond me, as a few still are.

The BVWS auctions do allow the aim of the society in letting true collectors get stuff at fair prices.

Back to the bulletin I prefer polythene. Only because mine used to arrived rain damaged, certainly in Scotland where I endured 10 years of rubbish weather.
